Is this site legitimate?  Can I really receive donations?

Yes.  It is legitimate.  All of the requests were made by real people in need.  A variety of factors determine who receives help and who doesn’t.  Since requests are fullfilled by the generosity of strangers we cannot predict who will receive help and who will not.  There are a few things you can do when making a request that might help your odds.  1.) Be honest, do not make up a fake story about illnesses or loss jobs.  2.) Be specific in what you need.  If you only need $40 to pay the electric bill then say so, but don’t say “I need enough money to pay the bills” as that is too vague. 3.) Include a way to be contacted in your request.  All too often someone will submit a request but fail to include a way to be contacted.  4.) Practice Karma! 

I want to change, or add information to my request.  How can I do that?
