My rescued dog is very sick...

Three weeks ago I adopted a beautiful German Shepherd Dog from a family who could not keep her anymore. In April I had to put my old Shepherd down and it broke my heart because he was my best friend.

The first vet visit with my new dog confirmed that she has heartworm disease. Her treatment will fall somewhere in the $600-$800 range, depending on the severity of her disease. She is an amazing, wonderful, sweet dog and I have grown very attached to her. She is my best (and often only) friend and my protection living alone with my children.

We need about $500.00 for food and household items which could last for a few months. I am currently looking for a job that will give me the hours to work around caring for my five year old daughter. My husband and I do not have the benefit of family to help whenever we would be needed for the demands of a job and child care is just too expensive. We have been doing it on one salary but it is getting harder and harder as time goes on. We live in a house with a large mortgage that gets paid but everything else is delayed. We have cut back so much and now the rise of everything is cutting into our food budget. Pay for my brain surgery

In October my father (who is ridiculously wealthy) decided that he had no reason to help me anymore because he got remarried. I am 20 years old and was attending Baylor University on a music and academic scholarship working towards a degree in nursing. Since he decided not to help me anymore I have had to drop out of Baylor and move back to Houston. In January, I had realized that I started having blurry vision in my left eye and went to have it checked out. Turns out, I have acute multiple sclerosis OR a tumor on my brain. I was on medicine for a little while but my father took me off of his insurance and I was paying $335 for my prescription. Since I could no longer afford it even though I was working 80 hours a week, I had to stop taking it. Now that I have not been able to keep up with my medicine and I have no insurance.... I need to have brain surgery. I hope and pray that someday a miracle will happen and God will bless me with the chance to have that surgery. My visi!

Down Payment On Car

I\'m a single mother of two boys ages 4yrs old, and 1 month. I\'m currently a Full time College Student pursing a degree in Administration of Justice. I\'m only a year shy of receiving my AA in my major.

I need some help with a down payment on a car. I currently catch the bus everywhere, and when I say everywhere I really mean it. Its hard catching the bus with a 4 year old but with a 1 month old now that\'s just difficult because you have the stroller and the car that you have to drag on and off the bus. What makes it sad is that people won\'t even help you when they see you are struggling not even the damn bus driver and they are sitting right there with the impatient look on they face. I have a legitimate funding issue for my company. I need $15,000+ to support the official launch of my San Diego-based company, called \"One Dental Voice,\" which will be a nationwide \"patient information\" and \"charitable funding\" resource program, which I am growing on a shoe string budget. This non-profit org. will a) give many people a new career path with a growing innovative company, and b) will provide a valuable free service, offering vital information resources to the consumer public about the recently validated connection between \"your oral health conditions and your heart\'s health,\" and which be provided in all languages and cultures in the USA, and c) which will create a new funding resource to offset family support expenses of children with critical surgical needs. This work was, in part, inspired by an awesome non profit organization called Fresh Start.org, an amazing group of dentists, doctors, and support staff who volunteer facilities,time, and talent !

The materials and overhead for these treatments cost alot, and many expenses, such as transportation, food, and housing for the family while a child is in treatment, are borne by the families and there is a need for assistance with these expenses. These families travel from great distances under stressful circumstances to seek this specialty care for their child, usually coming from other countries. These families challenges can be eased with funding for lodging, food, and transportation so that they may be able to focus on their child\'s needs during surgical or dental treatments.
