In April 2007, I was in a car accident and was hospitalized. I was on short-term disability until I was scheduled to go back to work in August 2007. Upon returning to work, I was terminated from my job.

I filed a complaint against my old company and attempted to file for unemployment. I was denied benefits. I found an attorney that would work on a contingency to help me get my benefits.

I filed an appeal with the help of my attorney. I had a hearing and was denied again. My attorney filed another appeal and we are waiting to find out what will happen.

In the meantime, I have been looking for work and I have not found anything yet. I have not had an income since August 2007. My friends and relatives have been helping me since April 2007. Now, my mother is the only one tring to help me. My mother is limited in what she can do for me.

I have called around and applied for everything I can with no success. I even contacted my Senator to see if he could help me get my unemployment benefits and that was unsuccessful.

I need help with rent, gas, food, personal items, and laundry. I am also going back to school next term and I need help with books, tuition, and related items.

Whatever, anyone can spare for me would be deeply appreciated.
